#1 Bitter gourd is the best remedy to fight against diabetes. Consume this vegetable three times in a week or  drink the juice of a bitter gourd on an empty stomach. It will lessen the level of sugar in your blood stream.

How to prepare:

  • Crush the bitter melon into a grinder after separating its seeds. Little bit of water may also be added. Sieve this to have juice.
  • Cut the bitter melon into small and thin pieces. Put small quantity of mustard oil and salt as required into the fry pan. Heat the ingredients along with onion and green chili for about 10-15 minutes.

#2 Even lemon juice is a very effective remedy to beat the intensity of diabetes. Lemon is the richest source of vitamin C, which is essential to strengthen the immune system. Never add any artificial sweetener to the lemon water.

#3 Indian gooseberry is also an excellent source of vitamin C. It is very effective in controlling the level of insulin in the body. Mix one tablespoon juice of Indian gooseberry with one cup of fresh juice of bitter gourd. Sip this mixture daily for two months, which will help the pancreas to function properly.

#4 Consume the powder of rose apple two times in a day.

#5 Make a mixture of fenugreek seeds, powdered turmeric, and white pepper. Drink this mixture with a glass of milk every night.

#6 Mix powdered Indian gooseberry, turmeric powder with two teaspoonful of honey. Consume this mixture two times in a day to control diabetes.

#7 Consume ten basil leaves with same number of neem leaves and Aegle marmelos. Chew these leaves with a glass of warm water, early morning. It is very effective when consumed on an empty stomach.

#8 Fenugreek seeds is the most common and effective remedy for diabetes. Add two tablespoon of powdered fenugreek seeds in a glass of milk. Drink this mixture once in day or you may gulp down two teaspoonfuls of fenugreek seeds daily.
